Tonka Dutch Baby

A sweet, dreamy dessert that’s as light and pillowy as Cloud Nine. Breakfast in bed never tasted so tempting.

What you'll need

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp Organic Forbidden Tonka sugar
  • ¼  cup butter
  • Whipped Cream or Creme Fraiche for topping

Preparation

  1. In a food processor or blender combine: 3 eggs, ½ cup of flour, ½ cup milk, and 1 Tbsp Organic Forbidden Tonka Sugar. Blend until there are no chunks. Set aside.
  2. On the stovetop in a pan over medium high heat, melt ¼  cup butter. Once it’s nice and foamy, pour in batter. 
  3. Place in a preheated 400°F oven and cook for 20 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 350°F and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
