Chipotle Tomato Soup

Kick things up a notch with a sweeter, smokier twist on this comforting soup. Serve with garnishes such as roasted pumpkin seeds or homemade croutons for added texture.

What you'll need
- 1 1/2 cups tomato (fresh or canned), chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 1 1/2 cups water or the broth of your choice, prepared
- 1-2 Tbsp oil (we recommend avocado)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Santa Fe Chipotle Honey
Preparation
- Heat avocado oil to a medium heat. Add onion & garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add slivered almonds & Santa Fe Chipotle Honey and continue to sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes & water and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Blend with an immersion blender and serve.
